Based on the book The Story of an Old (by Kaider Vardja), a multi-cultural dialogue will take place. To initiate and encourage interdisciplinary integration, the storyline of this book will be transferred into the syllabus of nature science classes in order to create a suitable context for creating a common ground to teach and study nature science hand in hand with other subjects.
The broader aim of the project is to popularize studying natural science discipline because of the worldwide ever-growing need for good specialists in the field of science and technology in the future.

What will take place during the project?
The following will happen during the project:
non-formal learning;
visits to different learning sites (e.g. companies, museums, science centres)
preparation and conducting of study tours and outdoor lessons;
preparation of presentations on material that is gotten from study visits;
search for and active correspondence between pen pals from partnering countries;
usage of innovative teaching methods;
usage of ICT (including smartphones) in teaching.
Interactive activities both in the classrooms and when learning outside will provide chances:
to maintain and increase pupils’ interest in science;
for pupils to learn to notice what is happening in nature that surrounds them;
to obtain important knowledge and practical skills on how to survive in nature by using their smart devices and any handy tools;
to expand pupils' perceptions and awareness of nature sciences.
Throughout the project, the involved teachers can:
develop their teaching methods so that they would become more student-centred;
acquire new methods and ideas to complement and modernize the already existing learning materials;
develop innovative educational materials.
Participation in the project will develop both pupils’ and teachers’ ICT skills and their media competence.
As a joint outcome of the project, the participants will make a web based worksheet collection titled “Nutikalt Looduses” (Skillfully in Nature) which is based on active teaching methods and takes into account the natural differences and the differences in the teaching of nature sciences in all the partnering countries.
